What Is Persuasive Argument?

What Is Persuasive Argument?Persuasive argument does not mean in the first place, to persuade everyone around you. What it means is to convince them of your viewpoint and help you to get their approval. In fact, persuasion works in a different way.Persuasion means persuading others to believe something. It is not about taking advantage of their emotions, in any manner whatsoever. People can be manipulated easily; but persuasion is a more complex art and is mostly carried out by experts. Through persuasion, it is easier to make someone agree with what you want them to do.Now, that being said, how does one go about persuading another through persuasive argument? To put it simply, the right way is through arguing your point well, using facts and research. One thing you need to understand is that persuasive argument is very easy to make. The person doing the argument has to realize that he does not have all the information and facts to prove his side. With this, he will fall into believin g what you want him to do. As a result, this person will get what you want and fall in your mind and convince the person, who is out to get the same thing for himself. So if you do not have all the facts, you cannot make a persuasive argument.Another way to successfully make a persuasive argument is by making the other person believe in your statements. This is done by presenting good reasons to support your statement. You will have to remember that a persuasive argument requires both sides to be aware of the strengths and weaknesses of their argument. But remember, when you make an argument with someone, you must make sure that your points are well thought out and well argued.Persuasive argument is based on facts and research and requires both the parties to agree. Without this, the argument is just empty talk, which neither side is willing to continue with.
